PRODUCT SELECTION
Choose by coat and context
Effective grooming does not begin with the product carrying the most claims. It begins by assessing the pet's current skin, coat and living context, then selecting the appropriate cleansing strength, conditioning route and finishing step.Assess cleansing needs
Consider sebum, visible soil, odour sources and grooming frequency. Deep cleansing, subtle deodorizing, airy volume, visual brightening for light coats and balanced everyday care call for different product paths.
Define the target coat feel
Long, curly, dense and close-lying coats differ in their needs for volume, drape and brushability. Add a rinse-off conditioner only when the coat type and finishing goal call for it.
Match the everyday context
Localized knots between baths may benefit from leave-in detangling support. Litter areas and shared-home spaces require dedicated environmental products and should never be treated with body-care products.
